Hyderabad: Congress veteran and former minister T Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday said he would announce his future course of action after the Ugadi festival. Responding to queries over reports that he was planning to quit the Congress, Jeevan Reddy said he would take a decision in due course. Speaking to reporters in Jagtial, he questioned how he could work with alleged turncoat M Sanjay Kumar, a BRS MLA, when the latter had informed the speaker that he continued to remain with the BRS. Jeevan Reddy said he had been associated with the Congress for nearly four decades. While acknowledging that there had been speculation about his future in the party, he maintained that he continued to remain in the Congress. Reacting to the development, minister D Sridhar Babu said Jeevan Reddy is a senior leader of the party and suggested that B Mahesh Kumar Goud, TPCC president, and Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC in-charge of Telangana, speak with him directly to ensure that he continues in the party.
