Chamarajanagar: Gundlupet police arrested a fruit vendor for selling Keralam lottery tickets on Saturday.Acting on a clue, a police team conducted a raid at the public area near the KSRTC bus stand and apprehended the accused, Nagaraju, a fruit vendor from Gundlupet town, who was allegedly illegally selling Keralam state lottery tickets.A total 400 lottery tickets worth Rs 20,000 were seized from him. A case has been registered at Gundlupet police station, and an investigation is under way.Superintendent of police Mutturaju M, who directed officers to take strict action against illegal activities in the district, appreciated the Gundlupet police for their action.
