Lucknow: Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a key support system for students who secured gold medals at the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) convocation, with several top performers crediting AI tools for helping them plan, revise and sharpen their understanding of difficult subjects.From creating study schedules and simplifying complex concepts to preparing model papers and summarising notes in easy language, students said they used AI as an academic assistant during their journey to the top.Nidhi Singh, MTech Computer Science topper from CAS AKTU and a native of Bulandshahr, said AI helped her solve complex programming problems, understand concepts and streamline her study routine. “AI helped me break down difficult problems into simpler steps. It also helped me prepare a structured timetable, which made my revision process more organised,” she said.Pranjali Singh, Bachelor of Design topper from UPID Noida, Lucknow, who has joined IIT Kanpur for a master’s degree in the same field, said AI supported her by offering quick references and summaries. “AI helped me explore design concepts, organise ideas and improve my preparation by providing quick references and summaries,” she said.Tanmay Gupta from Moradabad, who topped MTech Structural Engineering at IET, used AI to understand technical concepts and prepare study material.Shaurya Vikram Singh, MTech Remote Sensing GIS gold medallist from RSAC Lucknow, said AI was useful for preparing model papers and practice material.BTech Electronics and Instrumentation gold medallist Nivesh Pandey from IERT Prayagraj said AI tools assisted him in project work involving debugging circuits and instrumentation concepts, enabling faster troubleshooting, clearer explanations and more accurate outcomes.
