GURGAON:A shopping trip with his sisters, followed by an evening meeting in Gurgaon that ended in murder — this is how the sequence of events unfolded before 31-year-old Yuvraj Singh Manchanda was killed, according to police.On September 6, Yuvraj, a project manager, went shopping with his sisters before visiting a restaurant in Lajpat Nagar-II around 4pm. He later told his family that he had to attend a meeting in Gurgaon and expected to return by 10pm.Yuvraj then travelled to Gurgaon, where he met his ex-colleague Anya Vats and her partner, Sanyam Sachdeva.Police said an argument broke out inside a car and Yuvraj was allegedly murdered during the confrontation.The accused couple took his body to a drain near their residence in Gurgaon and dumped it there before leaving for Uttarakhand.Yuvraj’s body was recovered from the drain on September 10 and was initially marked as unidentified by Gurgaon Police. Vats and Sachdeva were later arrested in connection with the case.Police have not yet established a confirmed motive. Investigators are probing a possible financial dispute between Yuvraj and the accused couple.
