Mumbai: The construction work of Boisar railway station for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train is proposed to be completed by December 2027, said chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.On Sunday, Fadnavis carried out an inspection of various infrastructure projects in Palghar district.He said he visited the Boisar railway station site and work was progressing at a good pace. “There are two stations for the bullet train in Palghar district — Boisar and Virar. The project will ensure the economic development of these areas and with the proposed extension of Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to this region, the bullet train will ensure one can reach BKC in 30 minutes,” the CM said.There is a MMRDA proposal to set up back offices and residential quarters in Boisar. Those working in BKC will be able to travel by the bullet train.
