Akshay Kumar has followed the routine of eating early – not for a couple of months, but for more than 20 years. Standing tall in the entertainment industry, the 58-year-old is renowned for being adept at fitness exercises and adhering to a strict diet. “Early dinner is important. It is very important for your body because when we go to sleep at night, our eyes are resting, our legs are resting, our hands are resting, every part of our body is resting. But what is not resting is your stomach because we have eaten food late,” he shared his insights during a conversation with the audience at the ‘Your Body Already Knows’ book launch event.
Furthermore, he recited the scientific facts behind the practice, stating, “I think the diseases will not come near you. This is what I always follow. So, it is important to eat at 6.30 pm because you get your time to digest your food, and by the time when you are about to sleep, by 9, 9.30, 10 o’clock, the stomach is completely ready to rest.”
