T’puram: As part of voter awareness initiatives ahead of upcoming assembly elections, a friendly football match was organized at Neeramankara Azhankal walkway in the city on Sunday.The event was inaugurated by assistant collector and SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) nodal officer Shivasakthivel C. The initiative aimed to promote electoral participation and encourage citizens, especially the youth, to exercise their franchise responsibly. Officials from G V Raja Sports School, along with coaches from Kerala state sports council and department of sports and youth affairs, played a key role in organizing and coordinating the match. The match was jointly organized by Thiruvananthapuram SVEEP, district administration and department of sports and youth affairs.
