Dehradun, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana‘. Under the first phase of the scheme, 11,000 eligible students preparing for competitive examinations will be provided free online coaching.
Through this scheme, eligible students studying in government and government-aided colleges as well as state universities will be provided free online coaching to prepare for various competitive examinations.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister emphasised that hard work, the right direction, a sound strategy, guidance from competent teachers, and regular practice are essential for success in competitive exams. He said that 11,000 students would receive free online coaching in the scheme’s first phase.
He said that the scheme would ensure financial constraints do not hinder the dreams of talented youth, particularly those living in hilly and remote areas.
He said that the state government’s goal is not merely to provide government jobs, but to continuously work to promote self-employment, startups, skill development, entrepreneurship, and local products.
Under the first phase of the scheme, free coaching will be provided to 11,000 students: 2,000 for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the State Public Service Commission exams; 5,000 for the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), railways, banking services, and equivalent exams; 2,000 for defense service exams; 1,000 for NET, GATE, CSIR, and JRF; and 1,000 for management entrance exams like CAT and MAT.
