Mumbai: Police registered two separate FIRs against four youths from Nashik who appeared for the physical tests for constabulary recruitment held at the Marol Police Ground on Tuesday. In the first FIR, police registered a case of cheating against Omkar Wanjul and Sagar Tile after the two exchanged the chip given to them to track while they took 100 m tests.“Tile suddenly fell down while running and was taken to the hospital. Later, it was noticed that Wanjul had completed the test, but his marks were not being generated. Wanjul said he had tied Tile’s chip and vice versa,” said assistant inspector SS Nitin in the FIR.In the second FIR, police booked Omkar Pawar and Suyash Sitaram Khande for allegedly cheating during the 1,600 m running test. “Pawar pretended to have completed his test. It was found that Pawar completed three rounds of 400 m instead of completing four rounds. Khande too had taken a shortcut in the fourth round,” said Nitin.
