TNNVaranasi: Sindhora police on Friday arrested four accused in the murder of Saurabh Singh, 22 , in Majhanwa village on Thursday night.The police arrested Rishu Singh, 22 , Devi Singh, 58 , Rajesh Singh, 55 , and Golu Singh, 27 , all residents of the same village, within 24 hours of the registration of a case under Sections 3(5) and 103(1) of the BNS against Bablu Singh, Rishu Singh, Devi Singh, Rajesh Singh, Golu Singh and Hariom Singh.The accused were allegedly involved in a dispute stemming from longstanding enmity and a land dispute, during which Saurabh was shot. He was taken to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Govt Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.According to reports, at around 9.15 pm on Thursday, Saurabh was standing outside his house when some people called him. As soon as he approached them, he was shot in the head. He collapsed on the ground in a pool of blood while the attackers fled the scene.On receiving information about the incident, the DCP and the ADCP of Gomti Zone, along with the ACP (Pindra), inspected the spot and directed the Sindhora police to ensure the early arrest of the accused.Acting on the directions, police teams conducted continuous raids at possible hide-outs. Police said raids are continuing at possible locations to arrest the remaining named absconding accused.
