Kolkata: Baguiati PS cops on Thursday arrested Bikash Naskar, husband of former Trinamool BMC councillor Purnima Naskar, on the charges of extortion and assault. Naskar became the sixth political representative from the BMC area to be arrested over the past one-and-a-half months.The complaint was lodged recently though the incident dates back to 2020.So far, 10 KMC councillors have been arrested.
