Srinagar, July 25: Former actress, model and social media influencer Mateena Jeelani joined the Apni Party on Saturday along with her associates during a function held at the party headquarters.
Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, along with senior party leaders, welcomed Jeelani into the party and extended their best wishes.
Jeelani, a native of Rajwar in Handwara, has a background in acting, modelling and social media, and enjoys a significant public following.
Welcoming the new entrants, Bukhari expressed confidence that Jeelani’s induction would strengthen the party’s organisational base in Rajwar and enhance its outreach among the people.
The joining programme was attended by senior party leaders and party workers.
