Pune: An unknown man barged into the house of a food stall vendor in the Parvati Darshan area and murdered his 25-year-old brother by slitting his throat before fleeing. The murder occurred around 9.30am on Monday. A Parvati police team traced and nabbed the suspect, Dinesh Kshirsagar (35), on the charge of murder. The victim was identified as Danish Siddiqui. The suspect, Kshirsagar, who is homeless, barged into Siddiqui’s brother’s house and suddenly attacked him with a sharp knife before fleeing. Siddiqui was taken to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries due to excessive bleeding. The reason behind the murder is being investigated, police said.
