COIMBATORE: Flight operations at the Coimbatore International Airport were suspended Thursday evening following a compound wall collapse caused by heavy rainfall which impacted the runway area. Several incoming flights were either diverted or delayed or returned to their places of origin, including those from Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.All departures have been halted until the area is cleared and deemed safe.
