Nagpur: After days of suspension, an Air Arabia flight from Sharjah landed in Nagpur early Friday carrying over 120 passengers, while about 60 travellers departed for Sharjah on the return leg. However, there is no official confirmation yet on the resumption of regular services on the route.The next flight is expected to arrive on March 15. Meanwhile, the other international service connecting Nagpur to Doha has not resumed, sources said.International flights from the city were disrupted amid tensions in the Middle East. Apart from Air Arabia’s Sharjah service, Qatar Airways operates a flight between Nagpur and Doha.Raju Akolkar, president of the Nagpur chapter of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), said the Doha flight is likely to remain suspended for at least a month. The route is crucial as Doha offers connectivity to 183 destinations worldwide, serving as a key transit point for travellers from Nagpur, especially those heading to Europe.
