Hyderabad: Flexis targeting BJP MP Eatala Rajender surfaced at some locations in the city, triggering a political controversy on Sunday. BJP Telangana stated that its leader was being deliberately targeted by political rivals.The flexis, which surfaced at several locations, carried messages critical of Rajender and quickly drew attention from party workers and locals. The flexis carried slogans saying that Eatala did not do anything after joining the party except for being in groups and encouraging groupism.BJP Telangana lodged a complaint with police stating that these posters in Kukatpally should be investigated. BJP Telangana chief N Ramachander Rao condemned the campaign, describing it as an attempt to tarnish the image of the party’s prominent leaders in Telangana. The saffron party demanded that the authorities identify those responsible for erecting the flexis and take appropriate action.BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind alleged that the posters were part of a politically motivated effort to create confusion among party workers and mislead the public.Party leaders said Rajender had consistently raised public issues and questioned the state govt on matters concerning farmers, unemployment and governance. They alleged that the criticism reflected political discomfort with his growing influence in Telangana politics.BJP also urged its cadre not to be distracted by what it termed “cheap political tactics” and said the party would continue its programmes and outreach activities across the state.
