Panaji: The district election officers of North and South Goa have announced the schedule for first-level checking (FLC) of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and VVPATs, as part of preparedness ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.The EVM warehouse at the boys hostel, Pharmacy College, Altinho, will remain open from Aug 17 to 28 from 8am onwards for FLC. In South Goa, it will be on the first floor of old collectorate building opposite MMC Garden, Margao, from Aug 17 to 31.The FLC will be conducted under videography and as per Election Commission of India guidelines.
