Mangaluru: An accidental fire broke out at a car showroom in Padil on Friday evening, damaging multiple vehicles. The blaze was spotted shortly after the showroom closed for the day, prompting an immediate response from local fire and emergency services.Fire tenders were quickly pressed into action and successfully extinguished the flames before they could spread further. While initial reports indicated that multiple vehicles were damaged, authorities said they are yet to ascertain the damages. Fire and emergency services officer at the scene said that nearly five to six cars have burnt. “We have doused the fire completely, and are yet to ascertain the actual reason for the fire,” the officer stated.Investigations are currently underway.
