KOLKATA: Lake Town Police Station has registered an FIR following a complaint over an abusive and derogatory video targeting CM Suvendu Adhikari.Complainant Ananda Poddar said he saw the 4-minute-12-second video on Facebook on Sept 14 around 9.30am.The video, posted from a profile purportedly belonging to Samiran Mandal, features an unidentified speaker allegedly using vulgar and defamatory language against the CM.Police registered a case under BNS sections 356, 352, 353(2), 196(1)(a) and 299.Investigators are tracing the account’s digital footprints, IP address and hosting sources to identify the speaker and those who uploaded and circulated the video.
