Rajkot: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped over the past two years by one Sagar Chauhan, according to a complaint registered at B Division police station.The complaint alleges that Chauhan also recorded a compromising video and blackmailed the girl by threatening to circulate it.According to police, the girl met Chauhan, a resident of Ambedkarnagar, through a common friend. He allegedly promised to marry her to gain her trust.The girl stated that while he frequently tried to get physical with her, she refused. He then allegedly took her to a farm and forced himself on her. After that, he took her to his house on several occasions and raped her.Six months ago, he allegedly told her that they ought to film a video “as a memory”. Despite her refusal, he recorded a video of the act on his phone. He later allegedly used the video to repeatedly blackmail her into having sexual relations. When she pressed him about marriage, he refused, saying his family would not agree.
