Kanpur: Police on Sunday registered an FIR against 21 people, including 11 named and 10 unidentified accused, for allegedly beating an e-rickshaw driver to death with sticks and iron rods in Farrukhabad on Saturday.The deceased was identified as Akash (40), a resident of Ganga Nagar Colony.According to police, Akash had lodged a complaint about a month ago against some local residents following a dispute over whose e-rickshaw would move ahead first.Investigators said the accused had allegedly been pressuring him to withdraw the complaint.Qadri Gate police station in-charge Kapil Chaudhary said the case was registered on a complaint lodged by the victim’s wife. He added that raids were underway to arrest the accused.
