Ranchi: Jharkhand high court on Monday directed the state govt to ensure filing of affidavit by the secretary of revenue, registration and land reforms department in a PIL seeking conclusion of the ongoing land survey. The PIL filed by Gokul Chand stated that the land survey has not been completed for the last five decades. The court will hear the matter again on July 15.PIL disposed of: Jharkhand high court on Monday disposed of a suo motu PIL on the murder of a 12-year-old girl in Hazaribag directing the investigating officer to conclude the investigation as per evidence and report from the forensic department. The court initiated the PIL after reports of the girl being allegedly murdered on March 29. Investigation revealed that her mother and an accomplice had killed her while practising black magic.
