Nagpur: A 19-year-old girl with mental heath disorder was allegedly raped by her estranged father and a neighbour who claimed to be in love with her despite being married.The survivor’s mother, a 39-year-old woman, lodged a complaint at the local police station this week. An FIR was registered under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) along with other charges. The complaint stated one of the accused, a 40-year-old married man, who lived behind the complainant’s house, allegedly lured the girl by pretending to be in love with her. On March 18, the neighbour took her without consent to his village in Chhapra in Madhya Pradesh, where he allegedly raped her for two days.Thereafter, the neighbour took the survivor to the house of her biological father, who is the complainant’s first husband. Police said the father had physical relations with the girl. The survivor later narrated the entire ordeal to her mother. The neighbour was arrested on April 19.
