Prayagraj: Fatehpur police on Tuesday busted an inter-state burglars’ gang and arrested seven of its key members.Those arrested were Vikas Nagar, Anmol Singh, Jaishiv Gupta, Vikas Nishad, Rahul Gupta, Deepak alias Anshu and Mithun Singh, residents of Kanpur and Bihar respectively.Police have also seized stolen jewellery worth lakhs, eight mobile phones, a luxury car and tools from their possession.The gang used to target locked houses in posh colonies across UP and MP and used luxury cars to transport stolen articles to dodge cops. The gang had executed burglaries in Fatehpur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bhopal, Damoh and other cities.
