Gurgaon: Four days after a youth was stabbed 12 times by three masked, bike-borne men in Sector 3 in Faridabad, police have arrested two of the accused. Efforts are on to trace the third person, Akash.The accused, Dharmendra alias Lala (26) and Manish (22), are residents of Dabua Colony and are unemployed. Police found Dharmendra wanted to strike up a relationship with a woman who had been living in the same area. Some time ago, the woman shifted to Sector 3, where the victim, Nipun Kumar Patel (27) lived. The woman and Nipun, a marketing agent of a private company, grew close, because of which Dharmendra developed an enmity towards him.A few days ago, he had warned Nipun not to contact the woman anymore but the two refused to listen to him. Dharmendra then planned the attack on Nipun with Manish and Akash.ACP (crime) Aman Yadav said Nipun had gone to a Valmiki temple in Sector 3 on Sept 7 when the attack took place. The three, wearing masks and riding a bike, attacked him and stabbed him with a knife 12 times. Nipun suffered serious injuries and is under treatment.An attempt to murder case has been registered against the three on the basis of a complaint filed by Nipun’s uncle, Dhananjay Kumar Patel.
