Jaipur: A couple and their four-year-old son were killed Monday afternoon when a speeding trailer truck ran over their motorcycle on Jaipur-Ajmer highway near Bagru. The driver fled from the scene. The accident occurred around 1 pm near the Dahmi Balaji bridge as the family was returning to their Raja Park home after visiting relatives in Boraj. Police said the trailer sideswiped the motorcycle, throwing the family onto the road before crushing them under its wheels. All three died on the spot. The victims were identified as Deepak Verma (34), his wife Maya (30), and their son Dakshit (4). Verma ran a dry-cleaning shop in Raja Park and lived with his parents, younger brother, wife, and son. The family travelled to Maya’s parental home in Boraj Sunday and was returning on the motorcycle Monday when the crash occurred.
