Gaya: Railway protection force (RPF) and the government railway police (GRP) arrested Amar Kumar of Bela village under Lakshmipur police station in Jamui district for impersonating a traveling ticket examiner (TTE), allegedly using a fake identity card. He was arrested at Gaya junction late on Wednesday evening, while travelling in M-2AC coach of the West Bengal Sampark Kranti express without a valid ticket.RPF Gaya post inspector Banarasi Yadav said, “The Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya division’s security control room had alerted after chief ticket inspector (CTI) Vinod Kumar on duty aboard the train had detained a suspicious passenger. When the train reached Gaya Junction, a joint team of the RPF, GRP and the commercial department took the suspect into custody based on a written memo submitted by the CTI.”
