Patna: State chief secretary (CS) Pratyaya Amrit on Thursday asked principal secretaries and secretaries of all departments concerned to extend all possible and prompt support to investors during an “Udyog Varta” meeting aimed at accelerating industrial investment in Bihar and strengthening Bihar’s profile in the industrial sector.The CS heard the business proposals of all participating investors in detail and held discussions on removing ground-level obstacles to setting up industries in Bihar. He emphasised that the concerned departments must facilitate investment and address issues faced by entrepreneurs.The meeting was held from 10am to 1pm at the Vayuyan Sangathan Nideshalaya near Patna airport. Industries department secretary Kundan Kumar and sugar cane commissioner Anil Kumar Jha were also present.Investment and development proposals were presented in key sectors including artificial intelligence, health, road construction and transport.Karan Harry Dhaul, director of AION Pvt Ltd, said his company specialises in AI analytics and forecasting and proposed collaboration with Bihar’s electricity department.Himanshu Agrawal, operating officer of Zydex Industries Pvt Ltd, shared details of the company’s technology aimed at preventing premature road deterioration. He also gave a live demonstration before the chief secretary to explain the methodology.Anupam Shrivastav of Icon Communication proposed large-scale work in the state’s Jeevika and health sectors through a downstream communication model.Appycrown CEO Om Prakash said the company works in Salesforce consulting and cloud-based application development and is interested in partnering with the Bihar govt for technological empowerment.Representatives of several other business houses from across the country also attended the dialogue.During the meeting, some investors raised technical and administrative issues affecting their companies and sought quick resolution through the industries department. The chief secretary assured them of positive action.
