Lucknow: The four-day foundation day celebrations of Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University will start from Saturday with a seminar on the 200th birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule.The theme of the seminar is ‘Rashtriya Shiksha Hi Samaveshi Vikas Ka Aadhar: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Ki Drishti Me.’Another seminar on the theme, ‘Samaveshi Vikas, Viksit Bharat Ka Aadhar: Bharat Ratna Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Ki Drishti Me,’ will be held on Sunday.The celebrations will conclude on Tuesday with several competitions.Former President Ram Nath Kovind will join the celebrations on Monday.University officials said the foundation day celebrations will have more than a dozen academic and cultural programmes designed to promote the holistic development of students.“This year, efforts have been made to promote inclusive development through entrepreneurship, inspired by the vision of Babasaheb BR Ambedkar,” said vice-chancellor Prof RK Mittal.
