Role Description
EVNA PR is seeking a Publicist to support strategy and execution across a portfolio of beauty, fashion, and interior design clients. This is a public relations role focused on earned media, brand partnerships, events, award submissions, and strategic influencer seeding. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys pitching, relationship building, and securing media coverage. They should be highly organized, proactive, curious, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines and client priorities simultaneously. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Earned Media
    Develop and execute proactive media outreach across beauty, fashion, lifestyle, business, and design media

    Write and distribute pitches, media alerts, press releases, and briefing materials

    Build and maintain targeted media lists

    Secure product placements, founder interviews, trend features, launch coverage, and brand stories

    Monitor editorial calendars, media opportunities, and industry trends

    Track, report, and analyze earned media coverage

  • Brand Partnerships & Collaborations
    Research and identify brand partnership opportunities for clients

    Support outreach to prospective brand partners

    Assist in developing collaboration concepts and activation ideas

    Coordinate partnership logistics and communication

  • Events & Activations
    Support media events, launch events, dinners, previews, and experiential activations

    Manage guest lists, invitations, RSVP tracking, and media attendance

    Coordinate with venues, vendors, and client teams as needed

    Assist with event-day execution

  • Awards & Industry Recognition
    Research relevant awards opportunities across beauty, fashion, business, and design

    Draft award submissions and supporting materials

    Manage awards calendars, deadlines, and entry requirements

  • Influencer Seeding
    Research and identify relevant influencers, creators, editors, and tastemakers for gifting opportunities

    Coordinate product shipments and seeding lists

    Track placements, mentions, and resulting coverage

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field
  • Strong writing, pitching, and communication skills
  • Experience securing earned media coverage
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Interest in beauty, fashion, interior design, and consumer brands

Bonus Points

  • Existing relationships with editors, writers, producers, and freelance contributors
  • Experience supporting media events and brand activations
  • Experience with award submissions
  • Familiarity with affiliate and commerce media
  • Proficiency in Muck Rack, CoverageBook, Canva, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Slack
