Nagpur: Iron materials worth 17 Lakh were stolen from the Nagpur Metro Phase-2 construction site at Pillar No 130 near Khairi village, Kamptee, on Monday. Tushar Kuhite, 24, a security supervisor from Parseoni working for the construction company, reported the theft. The company provides security for the contractor of the Kamptee corridor portion of the project.At around 11pm, unidentified individuals arrived in a truck and a two-wheeler. They loaded pier cap plates and cap top side shuttering materials into the truck and fled. When the complainant raised an alarm, the burglars abandoned their motorcycle and fled from the spot along with the iron material laden truck.A case has been filed against unknown individuals under Sections 303(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Juni Kamptee Police Station.
