IIM Kozhikode

The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has opened applications for the 19th batch of its Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) in Management, a two-year MBA designed for working professionals. The globally accredited programme (AMBA, EQUIS) combines online learning with campus immersion and focuses on leadership, digital skills, and strategic management.

Announcing the admissions, IIM Kozhikode Director Debashis Chatterjee highlighted the programme’s role in building future-ready leaders amid a rapidly evolving global economy. He emphasised the growing relevance of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and technology-led decision-making in modern management.

“The EPGP brings together professionals from diverse sectors and career stages into a learning ecosystem defined by intellectual depth and diversity of perspectives,” he said, adding that the institute aims to nurture globally minded and socially conscious leaders.

Largest cohort, rising diversity

The previous 18th batch recorded 672 participants, making it the largest executive MBA cohort in IIM Kozhikode’s history. Women accounted for 29% of the batch, the highest so far. The cohort included professionals from IT, BFSI, consulting, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, and public sector organisations, with work experience ranging from 3 to over 20 years.

The two-year EPGP offers over 750 contact hours through a mix of interactive online classes and three one-week campus modules, along with an optional international immersion.

The curriculum also includes niche courses like Gen AI, responsible AI, storytelling, and management insights from the Bhagavad Gita, reflecting emerging industry trends.

The programme is delivered through an Interactive Learning (IL) platform, combining lectures, case studies, simulations, assignments, and masterclasses with industry experts. Participants also engage with IIMK Live, the institute’s business incubator, to gain exposure to entrepreneurship and innovation.
