New Delhi/Bengaluru: Air India’s Bengaluru-Delhi flight made emergency landing at the Delhi airport on Thursday night following an engine fire warning. All 180 passengers and crew on board safely deboarded.A source said pilots of AI’s A321 received a fire warning just before landing around 9.30pm. The same was extinguished after landing. The aircraft was towed from the IGI Airport runway. A DGCA team has launched a probe into the incident.The emergency landing comes barely hours after another AI flight on Delhi-Bengaluru route suffered a tail strike at KIA.About the Delhi incident, AI said in a statement that the crew followed all standard operating procedures and landed the aircraft safely at the airport.
