An elderly man died after an unknown vehicle hit his two-wheeler in Sajeti on Sunday morning, police said. Ramkishor (65), a resident of village Kuan Kheda, travelled to villages on his moped to buy scrap. On the morning of the incident, he left home to get petrol filled in his moped. As soon as he reached Kaitha crossing near Kuan Kheda village, an unidentified vehicle hit him. Police arrived at the spot and took the injured to Ghatampur CHC where doctors declared him dead. The body was sent for post-mortem. Police are investigating the matter. tnn
