Hyderabad: Malkajgiri Lok Sabha MP Eatala Rajender will launch a padayatra on Oct 27, demanding immediate relocation of the Jawaharnagar dumpyard.Residents have been complaining for years of foul smell, pollution and health issues caused by the dump. Rajender has decided to take up the issue, demanding a permanent solution and shifting of the dumpyard to another location.As part of preparations for the march, the MP would hold a meeting with affected residents and locals on Friday to understand their problems and seek their views. The route map and other details of the padayatra would be announced after the meeting.Rajender said the campaign would focus on protecting public health and addressing the difficulties faced by people living in areas surrounding the dumpyard.
