East Coast Railway has invited applications for Assistant Loco Pilot and other posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of East Coast Railway at rrcbbs.org.in.
This recruitment drive will fill up 1421 posts through the General Departmental Competitive Examination. The registration process will begin on August 15 and will end on September 14, 2026.

Selection Process
There shall be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by Aptitude Test/Typing Skill Test (wherever applicable), Document Verification and Medical Examination, etc. Candidates will be shortlisted for Document verification based on their marks and merit in the CBT /CBAT as applicable for the respective pay levels. The number of shortlisted candidates will be equal to the number of vacancies finally.
There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. (All category of posts) Deduction of 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be made for each wrong answer, but there will be no negative marking in Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT).

About application process
A single online application (even while applying for multiple posts/common to all the notified posts) has to be submitted by the candidate through the link provided on the official website of RRC/Bhubaneswar. The recruitment process shall involve single stage Computer Based Test (CBT) and Aptitude Test/Typing Test (wherever applicable) and Documents Verification/Medical Examination.
