Patna: Under the guidance of the National Disaster Management Authority and Bihar’s Disaster Management Department, the Patna district administration will conduct earthquake awareness exercises from Feb 25. A drill will be held at the Patna Collectorate, followed by physical mock drills on Feb 26 at seven locations, including J D Women’s College, Biscomaun Bhawan, JP Setu, Gandhi Maidan, and IGIMS. As Patna falls in seismic zone-IV, the exercise aims to test preparedness, response time, coordination, rescue operations, and public safety protocols.
