Jaipur: Deputy Leader of Opposition Ramkesh Meena has written to Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani alleging irregularities in the inauguration of a government health facility in his Gangapur City constituency and seeking action against officials involved.In his letter, Meena objected to the alleged “unauthorised inauguration” of the new building of the Govt Sub-Health Center in Hingotiya in Gangapur (90) Assembly constituency. He said a former MLA inaugurated the facility on April 10, in violation of state government guidelines and protocol.Citing reports published in local newspapers on April 11, Meena called it “extremely regrettable” that the Sub-Divisional Officer concerned and departmental officials facilitated the event without following official norms. He also said he was not informed about the programme despite being the sitting elected representative.“This is against the respect and protocol of public representatives,” Meena wrote, adding that such actions undermine democratic conventions. He demanded a thorough investigation and strict action against those responsible to prevent a repeat.
