Mohun Bagan Super Giant strengthened its hold on the top of Group A with an 8-0 thrashing of South United FC for its second straight win in the 135th Durand Cup at the Salt Lake Stadium here on Tuesday.

The win took Bagan to six points from two matches, while East Bengal and South United remained on three apiece from two games.

Debutant Lalrinliana Hnamte scored twice in five minutes as Sporting Club Delhi came from behind to beat Jamshedpur FC 2-1 in a Group C match at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Ranchi.
