Mumbai: Two men kicked and punched a 34-year-old man to death in V P Road area on Tuesday evening. The case was registered on Wednesday. VP Road police arrested the two accused — Govinda Akhilesh Yadav, and Adil Maqbool Khan. The deceased was identified as Shamsher Salam. Police sources said that Yadav grabbed Salam by his shirt collar, while Khan grabbed the deceased by the throat from behind. The duo violently slammed Salam on the road inflicting internal injuries to the back of Salam’s head, causing his death.
