Patna: The Patna high court has granted anticipatory bail to Rajveer Singh and his brother Karamveer Singh, who have been made co-accused along with JD(U) leader Anant Singh in the murder of Dularchand Yadav — an incident that occurred ahead of last year’s assembly polls in Bihar.A single bench of justice Prabhat Kumar Singh, while allowing an anticipatory bail plea filed jointly by Rajveer and Karamveer, passed the order on Monday, March 30. A copy of the order came into the public domain on Tuesday. On March 19 this year, the high court granted regular bail to Anant — the JD(U) legislator from the Mokama assembly seat — who had been booked as the main accused and perpetrator in the alleged murder of Dularchand. The case was registered as Bhadaur police station.Advocate Naresh Dixit argued the case on behalf of Rajveer and Karamveer and submitted that the accusations made against his clients were general in nature. “The specific allegation of committing fatal firearm injury on victim Dularchand Yadav has been made against Anant Singh, who was granted regular bail. My clients have been implicated in this murder case due to political rivalry,” Dixit added.
