Gurgaon: After nearly two weeks of dry weather, Gurgaon may see isolated spells of rain over the next six days, with changing weather conditions likely to bring some relief from the dry spell.Saturday began on a pleasant note, with sunshine later in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures across the city’s weather stations dropped by around 3°C compared with Friday.At Gurgaon KVK, the maximum temperature fell from 35.6°C on Friday to 32.4°C on Saturday. Gurgaon’s AWS recorded a high of 31.9°C, down from 34.6°C, while the maximum at Northcap University dropped from 37.1°C to 34°C.Minimum temperatures remained largely stable. KVK recorded a minimum of 23.6°C, compared with 23.3°C a day earlier. At Gurgaon AWS, the minimum stood at 21.8°C, against 21.7°C on Friday. Northcap University recorded a minimum of 24°C, down from 24.7°C. Relative humidity ranged between 65% and 83% during the day.According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a western disturbance over Himachal Pradesh and an upper-air cyclonic circulation over Haryana and neighbouring areas are influencing weather conditions. These systems are likely to bring isolated to scattered rainfall to parts of Haryana over the next six days.For Monday, the IMD has forecast isolated thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across Haryana, with wind speeds of 40-50 kmph and gusts reaching up to 60 kmph. A yellow alert has been issued for the northern and western parts of the state.In Gurgaon, light to moderate rain is possible at isolated places on Monday. However, rainfall is unlikely to be widespread, and sunny spells may continue across the city.
