Srinagar, July, 01 : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, in his message on National Doctors’ Day, expressed profound gratitude for the invaluable contribution and unwavering commitment of doctors, acknowledging their selfless efforts in serving people and safeguarding public health.
Paying tribute to the medical fraternity, Dr. Farooq said, “National Doctors’ Day recognises the immense contribution of doctors, the unsung heroes of our society, who dedicate their lives to the service of humanity. It is an occasion to acknowledge their relentless commitment and sacrifice in caring for patients, often under the most challenging circumstances.
“It is especially important for all of us to express our heartfelt gratitude to the medical fraternity, many of whom served tirelessly without respite during various pressing times. They put their own health and well-being at risk to ensure that their patients received the best possible care.
“On this day, I pay homage to all the doctors who laid down their lives in the line of duty while serving humanity. No amount of praise can truly do justice to the extraordinary dedication, compassion, and sacrifices made by the entire fraternity for the well-being of society,” he said.
