Prayagraj: A team of doctors led by Dr Iti Madan performed a difficult surgery and removed a huge 3.5 kg cyst from the patient’s left ovary. Doctors said such large cysts in the abdomen often grow slowly without major symptoms, so patients mistake them for weight gain or bloating. With timely diagnosis and expert surgery, the cyst was safely removed and the patient got immediate relief.Senior ENT surgeon Dr Ajay Shukla said women should be careful if they feel constant heaviness or swelling in the lower abdomen. He added that patients should see a doctor if they have pelvic pain or discomfort, frequent urination, or feel full even after eating a little.
