Pune: CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday launched ‘divyang sahayak portal’, an integrated, AI-enabled platform to streamline welfare delivery to persons with disabilities (PwDs). The portal enables beneficiaries to apply for schemes online and track applications in real time. Information about all schemes for PwDs has been consolidated on one platform, scuttling the need to visit multiple offices. Divyang welfare secretary Tukaram Mundhe said, “This is a one-stop website to get anything under this department. It will help weed out middlemen and ensure proper tracking of benefits given.” —Nisha Nambiar
