Bengaluru: Not only did the pass percentage increase of the state, the individual performance of the students also improved drastically.For instance, the number of students with distinction (85% and above) rose sharply from 1,00,571 to 1,70,529, a major jump that signals stronger high-end performance. Interestingly, this number in govt college more than doubled, rising from 7,214 to 15,178. First class (60% and above) also increased from 2,78,054 to 2,95,385, showing a broader improvement in above-average scores. Meanwhile, second class (50-60%) slightly declined from 70,969 to 63,957, suggesting that many students moved into higher categories. Pass class (below 50%) reduced from 18,845 to 16,827, indicating fewer low scorers. The improvement is even more striking among govt school students. First-class students increased from 49,684 to 63,189.
