The performance depicted Parshuram becoming furious after Lord Ram broke Shiv Dhanush and threatened the kings gathered in the assembly unless the person responsible identified himself. Lakshman responded calmly, further angering Parshuram.Sarvesh Dwivedi, playing Parshuram, told Lord Ram to restrain his younger brother, saying Lakshman did not know how to speak with restraint. Daya Bajpai, playing Lakshman, answered the sage’s questions with sharp, logical arguments. The forceful exchange and scriptural debate between the characters drew cheers from the audience.At the start of the Ramlila, Sanatan Sahitya Sangam secretary Prasoon Chauhan, patron Pradeep Kumar Mishra and Radha Mishra offered prayers and performed an aarti of Lord Ram.
