Dhanbad: Twenty women achievers from various disciplines were felicitated by a city-based school on the eve of International Women’s Day on Saturday. Jharia MLA Ragini Singh was felicitated at the event along with police inspectors, musicians, writers, archery coach and others. “Such programmes boost the morale of women working in different fields and inspire them to contribute more towards society,” one of the women who was felicitated, said.Reena Mandal of Symbiosis Public School that women are not only the backbone of families but also a strong foundation for the progress of society and the country.
