Kanpur: Devotees across Kanpur observed Budhwa Mangal with devotion and offered prayers to Lord Hanuman at temples across the city on Tuesday.The highest footfall was witnessed at the historic Panki temple. The mangala aarti was performed at 1am, following which the temple was opened for devotees. A heavy rush of devotees was also witnessed at the Dakshineshwar Temple on GT Road, where devotees offered prayers and sought blessings of Lord Hanuman.. Similar scenes were witnessed at almost all temples where idols of Lord Hanuman are installed.At several places, devotees organised recitations of the Sundar Kand accompanied by bhajans. Bhandaras were also organised at various places across the city.
