Mysuru: A 65-year-old devotee died after collapsing while visiting the famous ‘Dodda Jathre’ at the historic Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud. The deceased was identified as Nanjundaswamy, a resident of Magadi in Bengaluru Rural district. According to sources, he suddenly collapsed in front of the temple premises while attending the annual fair of Lord Srikanteshwara. On duty police personnel immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, he was declared dead while being taken to the hospital. Nanjundaswamy visited the temple fair every year. It is also learnt that he was suffering from health complications and was undergoing dialysis.
